Here's my configuration that worked fine in FX3. I’m not great with pcs and have had a hard time being able to use the OTG option. Stick to FX3, it runs great, looks great, plays great and the cabinet mode is fantastic. MAME is a multi-purpose emulation framework it's purpose is to preserve decades of software history. When I launch fx3 from steam I can bring up the keyboard, enter my cabinet code and play fx3 and everything works great. There is a bit more to it but it sort of depends what you want to do (just play pinball or stand alone etc?) and how much you want to spend. Renaming the game in Steam will revert to a default controller layout, but if you rename it back your controller layout is back :) I want to know if the community layouts work on Steam Deck, if not I might start a new SteamControllerDB.
